Our fearless leader, Dr. Anthony Furiato. He is our program director and assistant DIO of HCA GME. As he stated on the official HCA Florida Brandon Hospital GME webpage, "Our program offers a fantastic blend of various community settings as well as a diverse patient population. We have high patient procedure volumes to ensure comfort by the time of graduation. In addition, the program has access to a multitude of simulation centers and products. The program administration team cares about your wellness and prioritizes your voice to help maintain and shape the program. Our group looks for a candidate that has an eye for growth opportunities and a heart to give back to our surrounding community.

The residency group is tight-knit and supported by a diverse core faculty group and hospital administration. We also prioritize support for research opportunities with a vast collection of databases and research-experienced, widely published faculty. You will have a great lifestyle in the Tampa Bay Area with many outdoor activities and close access to the city of Tampa. Our program also provides various wellness/team-building events throughout the year with the help of our EM Wellness Committee.
