Harold Gomez Acevedo, MD

Dr. Harold Gomez is our fearless leader. As a kind, approachable, intelligent, and incredibly receptive program director, he guides our program through changes present in emergency medicine. As a Board-Certified Emergency physician with a great passion for advancing the field of emergency medicine, his focus remains on creating the best education and clinical experience for our residents.

With a focus on the applications of Ultrasound in the acute care and resuscitation setting, he has also bolstered an outstanding ultrasound curriculum. His goal is to develop projects that will make health care more affordable and sustainable while promoting further developments of the scientific and humanistic aspects of medicine. Dr. Gomez remains open to opportunities that allow the facilitation of physician development.
